John joined in 2021 and is now the clubs commercial manager. John was recruited by Layth approaching him on the street. John turned up to training and was immediately hooked to wheelchair rugby fives. John is fit and his strength is building every week. His understanding of the game is growing quickly, week by week. We are all looking forward to John being part of the team in our coming 2022 Championship wheelchair rugby fives (WR5’s) league. John is a future star.

John plays defensive attack for the North East Barbarians Wheelchair Rugby Club.
John has been with the wheelchair rugby team since the end of lockdown and he is the most improved player of the year. John's work ethic and fitness are superb and his game play is improving week by week.
John works for Siemens and is a dedicated loyal team player.
